Wrentham 10's Repeat as Cal Ripken District 4 Champions !!
Congratulation to the Cal Ripken 10 year old team for a REPEAT in the 2010 District championships held in Wrentham.
Wrentham outlast teams from Norton,North Attleboro,Stoughton,Dedham and Foxboro to capture the title.
Wrentham had great performances by several players during the tournament. And every player contribute in the final win.
However, Slugger Jackson Shiebler earns special mention for an amazing .760 batting average for the week along with Wrentham pitcher Will Weir who struck 10 in the final game, earning him the finals Player of the game award.
Wrentham went on to an impressive showing at the Eastern Massachusetts State tournament, reaching the championship game where they were outlasted by a tough Burlington team.
