WYBSA participates in three summer baseball leagues and one summer softball league. An evaluation is held during the spring season to place players on appropriate teams. WYBSA tries to have all players who are interested in summer baseball placed on a team. This is only possible if we have coaches for all team.
Hockomock Baseball and Softball League (A-Team)
This is a more competitive team that plays in the Hockomock league and participates in the Cal Ripken & Babe Ruth Tournaments. Teams are for ages 9 - 15. The season runs from June to early August. League games are played during the week nights and tournament games are played on the weekend. This league requires a strong time commitment from the players and parents.
Hopkinton Sizzler League (B-Team)
This will be a competitive baseball league and will consist of the "B" team from Wrentham. Wrentham will place one team in 2008 in the combined 11/12 year old age bracket. We hope to add a second 9/10 team next year. Since this is a competitive league there will be regular practice sessions.
North Attleboro Baseball League
This summer recreational league plays surrounding towns. Teams are for ages 9 - 15. There are generally 2 teams per age grouping. The games are played during the week nights and there are typically no weekend games. Players are encouraged to attend practices.
