Instructions: Setup 2 cones 25' to 60' wide depending on age. All players stand off to the side and enter the cones one at a time. Coach hits a ball in between the cones and the player must cleanly field it and throw it to another coach standing at either 1st base or by the hitter cleanly. If the ball gets through the player or the player makes a bad throw then the player is out. Players who are not out continue on to additional rounds until a final winner is found.
Variations: Coach may allow a player to bobble a ball if they pick up the bobble and make a clean throw. Coach determines what a good throw is depending on age level.
Coaching Points: The players seem to love this game! Players should be taught proper body mechanics and playing on their toes. This will allow them to cover more ground between the cones.
